I have run several day long workshops open to the public, for regular and inexperienced singers alike. The songs we sing in these workshops are very varied, with the emphasis being on having a good time and enjoying singing together in harmony.
I worked on three projects - singing and song writing in a primary school, a singing project in a day centre for the elderly and a lunchtime singing group for City workers.
I run regular singing workshops with two groups in Sheffield for women refugees and asylum seekers.
Along with another singer, I set up and ran two terms of singing courses with a group of children from Sheffield's home schooling network. This included learning a wide range of songs as well as improvisation and helping the group to devise their own pieces.
I have run singing workshops at various festivals since 2004. These have included The Big Green Gathering and Shambala.
