All the groups with which I work are open access singing groups for anyone who fancies having a good sing. Songs are very varied in style and are all taught by ear so no music reading ability is needed.
Calder Valley Women Singers
Women's singing group in Hebden Bridge - I am one of a pool of singing leaders who work with this incredibly welcoming group. The group meets in the Little Theatre in Hebden Bridge on a Wednesday evening from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. All women who want to sing are welcome to join the group. No auditions. Rossendale Community Choir
This new community choir was started in January 2010 and is proving to be a great success. I am one of three choir leaders working with the group, which meets fortnightly on a Thursday evening from 7:30pm to 9:00pm at Haslingden Primary School. Please follow this link for more information.
Bury Vocal Collective
I lead this singing group on behalf of The Met theatre in Bury. We currently meet monthly on a Wednesday evening although this may change from April 2010 so do check with the theatre before coming along. The next session is on 24th March 2010 from 7:15pm top 9:30pm.
